Expensive interventions that massively endanger security

“Nobody has anything against low-bureaucracy and efficient occupational safety. But: Safety officers are not bureaucracy, but certified protection for the health of employees. The minister’s plans are expensive interventions that ultimately endanger the safety of employees massively: more accidents, more sick days, more rehabilitation measures, more disability – every single person affected is already one too many.

There are health risks in every company that the employer must minimize or eliminate. With their timely and voluntary commitment, safety officers ensure that laws and rules are implemented.

Instead of strengthening prevention, important occupational safety precautions should be eliminated, especially when it comes to dangerous work and the use of external companies – a completely wrong approach.”
