Germany’s Continental Backs 2025 Outlook, Reports Strong Start to Winter

German car parts and tire maker Continental backed its 2025 outlook and said that its tire business has had a strong start to the winter. Continental said it continues to expect group sales between 19.5 billion euros ($22.71 billion) and 21 billion euros for the year, and an adjusted earnings before interest and taxes margin of between 10% and 11%. The company on Thursday posted preliminary sales of about 5 billion euros for the third quarter, beating a consensus estimate of 4.9 billion euros.
