Subaru Wins Awards in Three Categories
at the 63rd National Skills Competition
Tokyo, October 21, 2025 – Subaru Corporation is pleased to announce that its representatives received awards in the Plastic Die Engineering, Autobody Repair, and Manual Turning categories at the 63rd National Skills Competition*1, held in Aichi Prefecture and other locations from October 17 to 20, 2025.
A total of seven representatives from Subaru participated in the competition, including two in Plastic Die Engineering, three in Autobody Repair, and two in Manual Turning.
In the Plastic Die Engineering category, Yu Nakazato earned a Silver Medal, marking Subaru’s first Silver Medal in this category.
In the Autobody Repair category, Kodai Sato received the Award for Outstanding Effort for the second consecutive year, and Yu Tokida also received this award in the Manual Turning category.
With these achievements, Subaru has continued its record of success at the National Skills Competition for the 12th consecutive year.

Subaru aims to enhance the competitiveness of its people and organizations by developing leaders in the Monozukuri (manufacturing) workplaces, with participation in the National Skills Competition and various educational programs as part of these development efforts.

*1: An annual competition that has been held since 1963, aiming to provide young skilled professionals (in principle, those aged 23 or younger) with goals to strive for through skill-based contests, while raising public awareness of the importance of technical skills. A total of 1,016 participants competed in 41 categories this year.
