Singapore, October 22, 2025 – Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading superapp, today announces the launch of Partner Apps. Products, services, and content from third-party Partner brands in Southeast Asia will be directly available from within the Grab app, complementing Grab’s core suite of on-demand offerings. Through Partner Apps, Grab is expanding the number and types of services available to users, while giving businesses the opportunity to reach Grab’s 46 million monthly transacting users region-wide. Users will have more everyday services to choose from through a seamlessly integrated app and payments experience.
Philipp Kandal, Chief Product Officer at Grab, said: “With Partner Apps available natively within Grab’s app, users will get more out of using Grab than ever. Partner App services complement our users’ lifestyles and needs beyond Grab’s on-demand offerings. Users can enjoy a seamless all-in-one-place app experience through their existing Grab accounts and payment preferences, without downloading any additional apps. At the same time, Partner App brands can leverage Grab’s app and platform to engage our 46 million users and boost their own reach across Southeast Asia. Users across our markets can look forward to seeing many more brands they know and love as Grab Partner Apps in the coming months.”
Grab is launching five Partner App services with plans to introduce more from local and international brands. Available in Singapore and Malaysia today, Partner Apps will be introduced in other Grab markets over the coming months. Through Grab, users will be able to access services from providers including:
- Firsty: A telecommunications provider that offers a global eSIM with instant data abroad. With Firsty’s eSIM, travelers can stay connected without changing SIM cards, switching to local plans, or data roaming. The eSIM can be purchased through Grab Partner Apps for use internationally in over 180 countries, including Grab markets across Southeast Asia. New Firsty users purchasing an eSIM through Grab will receive 100% cashback until year end.
- HelloRide: A bicycle-sharing provider offering on-demand bike rental. HelloRide enables seamless, eco-friendly urban mobility – from city rides to first-and-last mile commutes. Rides start from just SGD $1 pay-as-you-go, with new users enjoying special rates and discounts if they book through Grab until year end.
- Jolibox: An entertainment platform offering games and short dramas, which users can enjoy through the Grab app whether at home or on-the-go. Users who access Jolibox content through Grab will be rewarded with bonus coins for completed game tasks and selected free dramas per week until year end.
- redBus: A bus ticketing platform offering intercity bus and ferry rides with over 200 operators within and between Singapore and Malaysia. Users will have more ways to book travel in addition to Grab’s ride-hailing services, and will receive a 20% discount when making redBus bookings through Grab, as per terms and conditions, until year end.
- Drive lah: A peer-to-peer car-sharing platform available in Singapore that lets users instantly book and unlock nearby cars using their phone. Every trip is fully insured and supported 24/7. Users will get 33% off (up to SGD $88) for their first Drive lah booking through Grab, as per terms and conditions, until year end.
Grab’s ecosystem comprises deliveries, mobility and digital financial services across eight countries in Southeast Asia, offering consumers a wide range of everyday services. Partner Apps complement Grab’s services so users can do more through Grab. For example, tourists visiting Singapore can purchase a Firsty eSIM and redBus ferry tickets in addition to making dine-in reservations, all through the Grab app. Users could also watch Jolibox content while en-route in a Grab ride, advance book a HelloRide bike, or book a Drive lah rental car for a weekend getaway — all through Grab.
Partner Apps providers can harness Grab’s app interface and infrastructure, as well as its back-end payments and security infrastructure, to serve more consumers in Southeast Asia. Grab also offers providers contextual advertising relevant to users’ needs, enabling cross-sell and boosting the discoverability of their services. For example, once a user is en-route in a Grab ride, they may see a banner ad within the Grab app to rent a bike with HelloRide for their next journey or a notification to discover Jolibox content while on-the-go. Or, if a user has booked a Grab ride to the airport, they may receive a notification to purchase a Firsty eSIM and stay connected while abroad.

We truly value this collaboration and look forward to bringing Jolibox to more markets as we continue to expand with Grab.”
Vince Vissers, Founder of Firsty, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Grab to make staying connected effortless. Grab users can now always stay online with Firsty, no local SIMs, no roaming surprises, just internet connection that follows you everywhere.”
Hayden Choo, Managing Director of Overseas Markets at HelloRide, said: “Grab has built the region’s leading ride-hailing and lifestyle ecosystem, and HelloRide adds a complementary layer of sustainable micromobility. Together, we will create a seamless door-to-door journey for users, whether they ride a bike to connect with a GrabCar, or use the Grab app to discover HelloRide nearby. This synergy is not just about convenience; it’s about reimagining urban mobility in a way that is greener, smarter, and more accessible for everyone.”
Krishnan Ramaswami, Chief Business Officer for International Business at redBus, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Grab to make intercity bus and ferry travel even more convenient for users across Southeast Asia. This collaboration represents a shared commitment to simplifying mobility and expanding travel choices for millions of users in the region. By integrating redBus within the Grab app, travelers can now discover and book safe, reliable, and affordable journeys alongside their daily transport and lifestyle needs.”
Dirk-Jan ter Horst, Co-founder of Drive lah, said: “Being available natively within the Grab app means millions of users can discover Drive lah without downloading another app or creating a new account. With keyless access and comprehensive insurance, renting a nearby car becomes as simple as ordering a ride. We’re proud that Grab has chosen Drive lah as a partner to bring car sharing to millions of users in Singapore.”

Partner Apps allow Grab users to access additional services in a frictionless, intuitive, and seamless way. On the homepage of the Grab app, users will see a new Partners section where all Partner Apps available in respective markets will be found. With one tap of a Partner App tile, users can access Partner services and make bookings, watch content, play games, and more, directly within the Partner app interfaces accessible through Grab.
Users can stay logged into the Grab app to browse or transact through Partner Apps without creating new accounts, completing additional user verification and login processes, or downloading additional individual apps offered separately by Partner App providers. Users can also choose GrabPay to securely pay for Partner App services that are available in their respective countries. In the coming months, other payment methods will be available, including credit and debit cards, and PayLater. Grab Partner App services cost the same as those booked or purchased directly through providers’ own channels.

Earn GrabRewards Points through Partner App transactions
As an additional benefit, users can earn GrabRewards Points by booking services or purchasing items through Partner Apps. Grab has been updating and improving the GrabRewards program to expand the ways in which users can earn points through Grab’s ecosystem, which now include actions like hosting Group Orders through GrabFood, or ordering during off-peak breakfast and tea time in Malaysia and Vietnam.
In the coming months, GrabRewards Points will evolve further to make it even easier for users to earn and redeem to save on orders or bookings made through Grab. GrabRewards Points will be renamed to GrabCoins in November 2025 in most Grab markets.
Partner Apps extend Grab’s offerings in order to better serve everyday needs and bring more enjoyment to users interacting with the Grab app. GrabRewards Points and, in future, GrabCoins, further reward users for choosing Grab while enabling them to get more value from using the services across our ecosystem.
