@Groupe PSA: OP Like Christmas on four wheels000844

The smell of stollen confectionery, roasted almonds, crunchy churros and hot chocolate permeates the area. Fairy lights and Advent arrangements frame the exhibition spaces, flanked by the Stellantis model range: a Frontera in bright red-orange, a Jeep Avenger in deep fir green. And Driving Home for Christmas plays from the speakers – a soundtrack that sums up the day.

For Hermann Holl, the journey from Bad Sobernheim in Rhineland-Palatinate was definitely worth it. Because the WINTER WOW WEEK is all about attractive special promotions for employees and their families. “And I have never bought a car in such a festive atmosphere,” says the Opel pensioner. In his pocket is a freshly signed leasing contract for an Astra Sports Tourer GSe. “Because I like sport,” he explains. And: “The golf clubs fit in perfectly.”

New cars, young used cars or leasing: During the Winter WOW week, models are available at particularly advantageous conditions.

Hermann Holl travels from Bad Sobernheim – and returns home with a contract for an Astra Sports Tourer GSe.

The team is available all day for advice and sales discussions.

During the Winter WOW Week, it’s not just employees who benefit from particularly affordable offers.

Walter Schaffner followed the offers online all week, but he didn’t want to miss the visit. “It’s always nice to be with my Opel,” he says. He spent 45 years planning the factory layout in Rüsselsheim and locations around the world, and now he is back on familiar ground. And he takes the opportunity to give himself an early gift: a Frontera Hybrid. Next to him are his son Heiko and his acquaintance Hanno Kullik, who is also enjoying Christmas shopping thanks to Family & Friends. “Astra or Frontera – the main thing is electric,” he says.

The winter festival at the end of the Winter WOW week is more than just a day full of offers. It is a meeting of the #OneTeam that celebrates the fascination for the brand and models together. Opel boss Florian Huettl and labor director Ralph Wangemann also mingle with the visitors. “The sales to employees team impressively shows what Stellantis and Opel stand for: team spirit, diversity and future orientation,” says Wangemann during a tour together with Corinna Schäfer, head of employee sales.

While the adults discuss leasing factors and the loading volume of the Grandland, the children rush down the tire slide with cheers. Luisa fearlessly climbs up the ice wall, puts in the ice ax, puts her foot down and continues. A father who just wanted to show “how it’s done” clings to the mechanical reindeer next door. Five seconds later you know: the reindeer has won.

Sales, leasing, advice: visitors can get to know and explore the model range in detail.

Enjoyment in the festive workshop hall: almonds, churros, hash browns, etc. ensure warm hands and a good mood.

Oskar Passek, 15, sits in the Opel Rocks for a test – his Christmas wish.

The parents are not averse: “I’d rather be in rocks than on an e-scooter. Especially in winter.”

Walter Schaffner treats himself to a Frontera Hybrid as an early Christmas present.

Vanessa Maldera counts between Astra and Grandland: “There are already four.” Four Opel models that family and friends purchased through them. Number five will follow today. Friend Christina Ordu tests her way through the model range – sometimes she sits in the Astra Sports Tourer, sometimes in the Grandland. “I need space in the second row,” she says and laughs. Christmas shopping can be so easy.

There is also no shortage of other gift ideas: Nina Frehse and Fabian Dorn from trainee marketing will present hand-made gifts from Opel trainees at the stands – they will be available at the Rüsselsheim Christmas market from December 4th. The Opel Lifestyle Shop has expanded its range for the holiday, including Christmas baubles with lightning bolts and Grandland Christmas socks. Bestseller of the day: the new Opel Frontera made of terminal blocks.

Lots of glitter: the youngest visitors shine while having their face painted.

You’re never too old for this: the carousel makes your eyes light up.

Freshly baked Stollen confectionery rounds off the Winter WOW week in terms of culinary delights.

The smell of almonds, fairy lights and Advent arrangements: the winter festival creates a Christmas atmosphere.

And in the “Sales to Employees” sales room, Oskar Passek, 15 years old, sits in the Opel Rocks as if it were already his. Hands on the steering wheel, posture confident. The parents watch and think out loud. “I’d rather be in rocks than on an e-scooter,” says his mother. “Especially in winter,” adds the father.

In the end, visitors go home with cold fingers, warm hearts – and sometimes with a new Stellantis model. The Winter WOW week set the right mood. Christmas can come.

The “Sales to Employees” team put together the winter festival at the end of the Winter WOW week with great attention to detail.
