After this “English Week” the winter king can finally be crowned in our betting game – his name is “Baque”. In the end he crossed the finish line eight points ahead of runner-up “Seal83”. Such a clear gap had not been apparent for a long time. Fortunately, it conceals the fact that the king is missing a few points in his crown. Due to the cancellation of games on the 16th and 17th matchdays, the table picture is currently a little lopsided. But as confident as “Baque” leads the field, this doesn’t play a role, at least in the Winter King’s freestyle.
And what exactly did it look like on matchday 17?
“Kuzorras_Enkel” and “Fits” won the day’s race – and how! In the eight games that were still on the table after the match between Hamburg and Leverkusen was canceled, both secured 28 points. Craziness. However, since “Fits” is three points ahead of “Kuzorras_Enkel” in the overall ranking, he has to settle for second place despite the dream result. This should be particularly painful given this yield. Four players are grouped around third place, each with 26 points, of which “FH1968” is ahead in the overall ranking.
Our community also scored well at the start of the second half of the season this weekend. “Kimy” was only off target in the 3-3 draw between Bremen and Frankfurt – a game that cost Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller his job. In the remaining eight games, “Kimy” collected a strong 22 points. He is followed by “Barnaby” and “Leonardo” with 21 and 20 points respectively. “Baque” remains at the top of the overall rankings even after the 18th matchday.
