Citing suppliers and individuals briefed on Hyundai Motor America’s internal discussions, Automotive News understands that the Santa Cruz production will end ahead of the originally planned Q2 2027 target. In light of historically poor sales and Hyundai dealers that are currently sitting on months of unsold inventory, the report appears to hold water.
