Engineering collaboration – engineered better.

Lesjöfors strengthens its digital engineering capabilities with the latest enhancement to its industry-leading Gas Spring Configurator: a NEW Share option that enables faster, more efficient collaboration across teams, departments, and disciplines.

Integrated into the Lesjöfors web shop, the share functionality allows users to distribute fully configured gas spring designs from a single, central source – improving technical alignment, reducing iteration cycles, and supporting a more robust specification process.

What this solves

Beyond engineering collaboration, the Share option also improves internal handovers between Engineering and Purchasing by reducing information gaps. Shared configurations package key details in one place – including part numbers, cost, and supplier information – helping purchasers reduce internal information seeking and supporting decisions based on full specification requirements and a solution ‘package’.

The configurator also provides direct access to CAD downloads and PDF documentation, enabling seamless integration into design and production workflows.

Leading the way in digital spring solutions

Greg Lehman, Head of Gas Springs says: “Continuing with our goal of developing market leading tools for our customers and sales teams to seamlessly collaborate on designs and solutions, this marks another milestone in that journey.

We are enabling sales, designers, and purchasers to cooperate in ways rarely seen in this industry.”

With continuous development and new functionality, the Lesjöfors Gas Spring Configurator continues to set the benchmark for digital gas spring engineering tools.
