Honda has invested 61.5 million dollars (52.3 million euros at the current exchange rate) at its US and Indiana plants due to the start of production of the new Insight.

The Japanese firm will support the production of the Insight in its factory in Indiana with 32.5 million dollars (27.6 million euros), according to a statement.
