Domestic production decreased year-on-year, as a decrease in production of the Forester and other models offset an increase in production of the Crosstrek*4 for North America.


Overseas production decreased year-on-year, as the momentum boosted by the redesigned Impreza declined after its introduction over a year ago.

Passenger vehicle sales decreased year-on-year, as the momentum boosted by the redesigned Impreza declined after its introduction over a year ago and the Forester was nearing a launch of its redesigned version.


Mini vehicle sales decreased year-on-year, mainly due to a decline in the Chiffon and Sambar sales.

Exports from Japan increased year-on-year, as decreased shipments for North America were offset by increased shipments for other regions including Europe and Australia.
