VALLADOLID, May 31 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The deputy secretary general of the General Union of Workers (UGT) in Castilla y León, Evelio Angulo, acknowledged on Thursday that the reduction of the third shift in the Renault factories of Valladolid and Palencia mean “an ax of employment that worries.”

In statements collected by Europa Press, Angulo has shown his support for the union section of his organization in the company in the contacts he has with the Directorate of Renault.

Although he has admitted that the nearly 1,400 jobs that would be reduced by the end of these shifts are limited to defined jobs and not undefined that the company justifies by “cycle changes” or “exhaustion of models”, has insisted that as union its role is “to claim the maintenance of employment”.
