MADRID, Jun 8 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The PSA Group will close this year with a fleet of rental vehicles, managed by the division launched last year Free2Move Lease, of 17,000 units, which will mean an increase of 35% compared to the data before the arrival of this service of renting.
This was stated by the director of Free2Move Lease in Spain, María Jesús López, in a meeting with the press, in which she said that the company is “very satisfied” with the evolution of this business unit during the first year in the market Spanish, since it was launched in April 2017.
Lopez stressed that this positive evolution is part of an environment of growth of the channel of companies and of the renting in the whole of the Spanish market, which will close the year with the largest share over the total number of registrations, although it will not reach 50% of the market that already registered in other markets such as France.
“In Spain, the performance has been very positive, we are very satisfied for these fourteen months,” he explained, while noting that at present the firm has a fleet in Spain of 15,000 units and the forecast is to close the current year with about 17,000 units.
30,000 UNITS FOR 2023.
For its part, the head of Free2Move Lease for the Spanish market said that its ambition is to reach a fleet of corporate customers of 30,000 units by the end of the year 2023 in Spain, which will double the figures it maintains today.
Thus, López stressed that the goal for 2018 is to consolidate this business unit of renting and services in Spain and to overcome the growth of the renting market in Spain, which is one of the most dynamic in Europe.
To achieve these goals will be based on the strategy that have led to date, with the launch of new services such as Connect Fleet and a shared fleet service, while driving services with the arrival of new models of the Group’s brands PSA.
In addition, they will continue to activate dealer networks, implementing proactive management with their customers to get ahead and adapt to their needs, as well as reinforcing digital communication and review the satisfaction of the services and their customers.
During the meeting, the general director of the PSA Group in Spain, Christophe Mandon, explained that the fulfillment of the first year of Free2Move Lease is a “very important” event and reminded that this initiative is part of the group’s plan ‘Push to Pass’, launched two years ago.
