The decision of the PSA Group to paralyze the Corsa project in Figueruelas comes after the Opel Spain works council unanimously agreed to suspend the negotiations of the collective agreement it holds with the company earlier this week.

The agreement, which affects the workers of Opel Spain, its majority in the Zaragoza plant of Figueruelas, expired in 2017 and is the first that the firm faces after its purchase by the PSA Group. The negotiations began last October.
