The purchase of FleetCarma, according to the company, “accelerates Geotab’s long commitment to invest in people and technology,” and thus makes the company a “global leader” in telematics for electric vehicles.

The FleetCarma team is specialized in offering telematics technology for hybrid and electric vehicles. With clients in North America and Europe, the company also helps service companies to understand and manage the impact that charging electric vehicles has on the electricity grid.
