The cars are up 0.8% in September

The price of automobiles closed last September with an increase of 0.8% compared to that month of 2017, a figure below the interannual 2.3% of the general Consumer Price Index (CPI), according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (IPC).

In addition, automobiles saw their price fall by 0.7% in the inter-monthly comparison, while they increased six tenths since the beginning of the current year.

On the other hand, motorcycles increased by 1.2% in September compared to the same month of the previous year. The price of this type of vehicles remained the same as in August, but they have accumulated a price increase of 1% since January.

On the other hand, the spare parts and accessories for vehicles decreased 0.2% their price last month compared to September of the previous year, while the inter-monthly figure remained stable and the increase since January was 0.1%.

The price of fuels showed a strong increase of 12.3% last month compared to the ninth month of 2017, while it increased by 1.1% compared to August and increased its price by 8.9%. beginning of the current year.

On the other hand, vehicle maintenance and repair services increased their price by 1.6% in the year-on-year comparison, 0.1% on the previous month and 1.2% since the beginning of 2018.

Finally, the prices of other services related to personal vehicles showed a year-on-year rise of 0.9% in September, while they remained stable compared to August and increased by 1.1% so far this year.
