At a ceremony held at the European Parliament, SEAT received the European Sport and Healthy Company 2019 award from the European Healthy Companies Association, made up of DCH – International Organization of Human Capital Directors and the ACES Europe association. This is the first European level prize received by the company, and it highlights the work carried out by SEAT as an organisation that is committed to health policies and promoting physical activity and good health among its employees.
The award ceremony, which coincided with the European Capital and City of Sport 2019 award, was attended by members of the European Parliament, ministers, mayors and authorities from EU member nations.
Dr. Patricia Such, who is responsible for Occupational Health and Safety at SEAT, said “we are very proud to receive our first recognition as a company that stands out in the area of health in Europe. This award supports the work we do to advance our workers’ health, safety and well-being, which has led to projects such as CARS, the creation of the Healthy Company Scientific Committee or the MedCARS scientific study, which will soon produce results.”
