UPDATED JANUARY 9, 2019
Deep breath. We know the Viaduct closure is a pain. That’s why we’ve partnered with the City of Seattle, King County Metro, and Sound Transit to provide affordable and reliable transportation to get you through this. To encourage public transit use, we’re offering a $2.75 discount on all Shared rides to and from select transit centers. Why $2.75? The cost of public transit fare is $2.75, so, basically, we’ve got your fare covered. Additionally, this week, we began rolling out our ‘Nearby Transit’ feature in the app so Lyft riders in Seattle to can view public transit information front and center in the Lyft app.
How to Get the Transit Fare Discount
Between Dec. 10, 2018 and Feb. 15, 2019, Lyft riders will get $2.75 off all Shared rides to and from select transit hubs in and around Seattle. Our offer through the entirety of the Viaduct closure and we even started the deal early so you could practice your new commute.
