Zafira Life celebrates its world premiere on 18 January 2019 at the Brussels Motor Show, which can be ordered from February.
The Zafira Life is available in three lengths: as “Small” version with 4.60 meters length, as “medium” with 4.95 meters as well as “Large” with 5.30 meters. The “S” version is almost ten centimeters shorter than the current Zafira. The “L” version, on the other hand, measures around 65 centimeters more and adopts Vivaro Combi dimensions. Thus, the large-capacity passenger car covers up to three vehicle segments.
For off-road traction, the Zafira Life is equipped with Traction Control “IntelliGrip”. If you want more, you can order the 4 × 4 version for the market launch. The four-wheel drive contributes to off-road specialist Dangel.
Whether in length “S”, “M” or “L” – each of the three variants can accommodate up to nine people each. To top it off, there is the lounge equipment for the two larger versions with a long wheelbase: Electrically heated front seats with massage function, behind four leather armchairs each with comfortable 48 centimeters seat width, which can be moved. Leather seats are available for all variants, which can be variably moved in aluminum rails.
The newcomer will be at the beginning of 2021 as a purely electric variant. Sure, because Opel is electric. For example, the order books for two electrified models will be opened in the first half of 2019: for the all-electric variant of the Corsa and the Grandland X as a plug-in hybrid.
Flexible and efficient vans are called Zafira – and have been for 20 years. In 1999, the first generation invented the genre of the compact family vans. What began with the first generation is now continued two decades later with a completely newly developed fourth model generation.
