BudapestIn the wage dispute on the Hungarian Audi-Location in Györ employees want increase the pressure with a warning strike. The union responsible, representing more than half of the more than 12,000 employees at the plant, called for a two-hour shutdown on Friday.
The union demands of the VolkswagenSubsidiary an immediate increase in wages by 18 percent and overall alignment with pay in other plants in Eastern and Central Europe. She points out that about employees of the car manufacturer in the Slovakia on average earned 28 percent more. Audi had recently offered an increase of initially ten percent and another ten percent in January 2020.
Audi has billions in production in Hungary invested and runs one of his biggest works there.
