- Expansion of the range of Lemförder Service Packs
- Cost-effective and efficient repair thanks to comprehensive assembly accessories
ZF Aftermarket’s brand Lemförder offers garages with its Service Packs significantly less complicated steering and chassis repairs. The vehicle-specific mounting kits can be ordered in addition to the respective main component and then include all parts required for the repair. ZF Aftermarket currently offers 120 service packs with original quality spare parts for 830 vehicle models. A further 14 service packs will be available from dealers by the middle of the year.
The new kits contain the fastening material for the main components to be replaced, such as wishbones or tension struts, on the one hand, and the fastening means for the peripheral components, on the other. These must be loosened or removed during repair to replace the defective part. Vehicle manufacturers recommend that all bolts and nuts loosened when installing spare parts be replaced with new ones, as their function may be restricted if they are used again. If the main component and the corresponding mounting kit are ordered together, this is considerably faster and more efficient, as the other components do not have to be identified and ordered separately.
Up to 70 chassis and steering parts can be installed in a passenger car. As these are safety-relevant components, they are subject to special care not only during design and manufacture, but also during assembly. Repairs should only be carried out by a specialist and with original spare parts.
The Lemförder original mounting accessories include a complete mounting kit with all mounting parts in the usual OE quality. The set contains repair instructions according to the original guidelines of the manufacturer.
With the Lemförder brand, ZF Aftermarket sets high standards in terms of innovation, quality standards, and product performance in the chassis and steering area. Parts from Lemförder ensure optimum road contact because they combine driving dynamics, safety, and comfort. The unique tempering process not only improves the longevity of the joints, but also ensures that the vehicles are on the road with maximum performance right from the start.
Therefore, the product portfolio has been extended by 168 Lemförder original parts in the last 12 months, e.g. a pendulum support for BMW F90 M5, wishbone for Audi Q5 and Q7 as well as Range Rover or axial joints for Peugeot C4 Picasso.
