The FIOM CGIL of Turin announces that today, Friday, May 31, elections were held for the renewal of workers’ representatives for the safety of FCA’s Mirafiori Central Authorities.
Out of 6,990 eligible employees, 3,371 workers and workers who voted for 3,337 valid votes participated in the vote.
In the previous elections, held in 2015, the valid votes were 3,388. Fiom CGIL confirms its representation and obtains 819 votes (24.54%) and elects 2 RLS.
The Association of heads and cadres Fiat obtained 1,772 votes (53.10%) and elected 4 RLS, the Fismic obtained 313 votes (9.38%) and elected 1 RLS, the Uilm – Uil obtained 280 votes (8, 39%) and elects 1 RLS, the FIM – CISL has obtained 96 votes (2.8%) and does not elect RLS as well as the UGL (57 votes equal to 1.71%).
Edi Lazzi, provincial secretary of Fiom Cgil Torino, and Gianni Mannori, head of FCA central bodies for the Fiom of Turin, declare: “This vote confirms the representation of Fiom Cgil in an important area of FCA where employees, managers and technicians work “With this vote, the work done by Fiom Cgil, its RLS and its trade union representatives over the past few years has been recognized, despite the many difficulties. The FIOM is first among the confederal unions and again elects 2 workers’ safety representatives. We thank the workers and workers for this renewed trust “.
