MUNICH (GERMANY), 15 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

All of the vehicles of the German manufacturer of BMW vehicles comply with the legislation and none of them has experienced handling in their emissions, as has been confirmed by the company’s head of development, Klaus Fröhlich.

The director made these statements after the Federal Motor Transport Authority of Germany (KBA, for its acronym in German) has published on Thursday a report confirming that its model 320d meets all legal requirements.

The company explained that these tests were carried out as a result of the criticisms received for the performance of car emissions in December last year by the Environmental Action Germany lobby.

“As a matter of principle, BMW Group vehicles are not handled and comply with the relevant legal requirements, our diesel engines are clean, the public and the lawmakers can rely on it and, more than any, our customers and employees,” Fröhlich added.

From the company explained that the data collected by the KBA show “once again” that the company has not performed illegal activities or technical provisions of any kind to influence the tests that measure the emissions of vehicles.

“The results of the KBA tests also suggest that the emissions readings criticized by Environmental Action Germany resulted from forced driving situations and execution failures in the tests, so they are not representative,” the corporation added. .
