Bipi, a Spanish startup dedicated to vehicle underwriting, has completed a Series A financing round of 6.5 million euros and has been led by the Israeli fund Maniv Mobility, with the support of investors such as IDC Ventures, TA Ventures and Kibo Ventures, among others.
The company said in a statement that it will use this financing injection to become the only Spanish ‘player’ in the car subscription model, as well as to expand to other European markets.
Another of Bipi’s objectives based on this capital income is the expansion of the engineering team, the achievement of new strategic and commercial agreements and its product range. In this context, it expects its fleet to reach 10,000 vehicles by 2020.
