Inspection of the city administration of Rivalta in the former Fiat spaces of Tetti Francesi which will host one of the main centers of the auto parts distribution of the Mopar group.
On Friday morning, thanks to the availability of site managers, the mayor of Rivalta Nicola de Ruggiero together with city councilor Pasquale Russo was engaged in a long tour in the million square meters of the FCA district of Rivalta. In the coming months, just in Tetti Francesi, the new warehouses for the storage and distribution of car accessories and spare parts will be housed.
“It is a sincere emotion and great satisfaction to see first-hand that, after many years of inactivity – said the mayor of Rivalta Nicola de Ruggiero – finally comes a strong signal of rebirth of” our “factory symbol of the great industrial tradition rivaltese”. “As an administration we have been committed since the first days of our establishment to achieve this important goal and after months of fruitful confrontation with the professionals of FCA we begin to see the first fruits”.
The reconversion project is affecting 340,000 square meters of surface area, of which 40,000 are newly built. Here you will find the storage and shipping area and the Mopar regional headquarters. The new center will be able to serve 5,000 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and other world markets. According to Mopar’s forecasts, the logistics hub of French Roofs will operate at full capacity within the next three years.
