- Ulf Loleit moves from BASF to ZF as of November 1, 2019
- 50-year-old graduate economist with many years of experience in the financial markets
Friedrichshafen. ZF has a new Head of Corporate Finance: Ulf Loleit will join the company on November 1, 2019. He will report to Chief Financial Officer Dr. Konstantin Sauer.
Before studying economics in Germany and Canada, Loleit completed an apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank, where he also worked during his studies. In 1997, he started his career at BASF in Ludwigshafen as Management Associate Finance & Administration. In his more than two decades with the BASF Group, Loleit held various management positions in Finance, Controlling and Corporate Treasury. In 2011, he was appointed Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling Asia Pacific. Based in the regional headquarters Asia Pacific in Hong Kong, China, he was responsible for the functional leadership of all financial units in the region, including the Finance Services unit at the Shared Service Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since his return to Germany in 2015, Loleit has been Senior Vice President Corporate Treasury at BASF in Ludwigshafen.

During this time, he held a wide variety of functions and positions in the DAX-listed company’s finance department,” says ZF’s Chief Financial Officer Dr. Konstantin Sauer. “With his comprehensive know-how in credit risk management, financial planning and controlling, and the development of financing strategies for takeovers and investments, he is a perfect fit for our finance team.”
