Renault Trucks has launched a mobile version of its Optifleet software, giving operators remote access to fleet information.
The application, for use on mobile phones or tablets, offers a simplified interface compared to the original Optifleet software to enable operation on a smaller screen, allowing operators to access vehicle information rapidly. From the app, new assignments can be allocated and individual driving behaviour monitored and assessed.
Three modules are available within the application; with the Check module providing technical information, including Ecoscore to help operators improve efficiency through driving style analysis. The Map module gives real-time geolocation of monitored vehicles, while the Drive module gives driving time information and the ability to access driver card and tachograph memory data.
The Optifleet mobile application is a part of Renault Trucks’ drive to provide solutions to support operators in lowering fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, with real-time fleet management allowing improved response times to issues and improved resource management. Renault Trucks’ claims savings of up to 5,000 Euros per vehicle per year are possible with Optifleet software.
