The COTY (Car of The Year) jury selected the new PEUGEOT 208 from the list of its 7 finalists broadcast on November 25. The new PEUGEOT 208 impresses with its assertive design and technology: it offers the power of choice between electric or thermic energy. The winner of the COTY award will be announced on March 2nd, 2020 in Geneva (Switzerland).
The new PEUGEOT 208 stands out in its segment. It offers, right from launch, three different energy sources options: electric, petrol or diesel. Its design is sleek, sharp and dynamic. Its technologies are innovative: the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit ® 3D (head-up display, compact steering wheel and touch screen) promotes ergonomics. Its driving assistance system are normally reserved for higher market segments.
The COTY jury distributed its list of 7 finalists, in alphabetical order, after a first vote:

PEUGEOT won a total of five COTY awards and has been included in the finalists “Short List” for the second time in two years. The COTY jury is composed of 60 automotive expert journalists from 23 European countries. Founded in 1964, the COTY award is the most coveted.
