How would our everyday life change with personalization technologies? Hyundai Motor Group has made progress in many areas of technology and personalization technologies are no exception. Here is a preview of how our lifestyle could change with the commercialization of advanced technologies.
Hi-oT system that enrich daily life
It’s Saturday morning and Mi-rae Kim just woke up. She is still in bed but the “Hi-oT” system has already turned on the lights in the living room and her favorite music. As she walks into the living room, the Voice home system tells her what the weather’s like today and adjusts the room temperature. It’s time to have breakfast. She walks into the kitchen and talks to a small screen on the wall “Good morning Aladdin, give me the recipe for Avocado rice bowl.” Aladdin responds pleasantly as always and displays the recipe video of the dish right away. Aladdin has been a reliable companion for Mi-rae for some time. After a healthy breakfast, she is in the mood for a trip to her favorite cafe in the countryside. The AC in the car has been activated via the smartphone app and her home is now set for “out” mode, she is ready to go. All the lights are turned off and the security system is on. The car has driven itself from the underground parking lot to the gate of her apartment building. The car knows precisely where it needs to be and when thanks to the Smart Autonomous Driving and Parking System.
Driver-centered Smartphone Key System
Mi-rae’s car is keeping an eye on her to ensure her safety. It keeps track of how she is using her smartphone, changing radio channels, reading navigation maps and stores her behavior patterns as data which helps the car respond to unexpected risks more effectively. The car will gradually reduce speed when it detects a lack of driver attention. It also adjusts the seat positions, cabin temperature and music using emotion detection technology. Mi-rae arrives at the cafe. She walks out from the car and into the cafe, while her car parks itself. The parking spot is a little tight but it is no problem for the advanced autonomous parking system. Finding a parking spot and parking itself is not a problem for her car back at home either. To make her life even more convenient, her smartphone sends a signal to the elevator so it is ready for her. As she enters her apartment, the cleaning robot is busy finishing up, the rice cooker is busy cooking and the air conditioner and purifier are already following the “Return to Home” command.
