Cities are places of innovation, the drivers of our economy and the places where wealth and jobs are created. At the same time, urban areas are characterised by density: of people, activities, interactions and economic, social and cultural functions. Cities are thus where the opportunities and threats to sustainable development meet.
In this context, the ACEA Position Paper on Sustainable European Urban Mobility Policy sets out the priority issues that need to be addressed, including green mobility, safety, efficiency, accessibility and affordable mobility for all Europeans.
