Automobile sales in France grew by 4.3% in February, to 168,897 units

Sales of passenger cars and off-road vehicles in the French market reached a volume of 168,897 units in the second month of 2017, which translates into a rise of 4.3% compared to the data recorded during February 2016.

According to data from the Committee of French Automobile Manufacturers (CCFA), the registrations of light commercial vehicles in the Gallic market as a whole reached 35,818 units, 3.6% more.

On the other hand, 3,956 industrial vehicles were marketed in France during the month of February, which represents a growth of 12.3% compared to the second month of the previous year.

Between January and February, 325,743 passenger and off-road vehicles were registered in the French market, 3.4% more compared to the same period of the previous year, while the accumulated sales of light commercial vehicles increased by 4.6%, to 68,542 units.

On the other hand, the registers of industrial vehicles increased 11.7% during the first two months of the course, until reaching the 8,397 units sold.
