Rides at Sky Harbor are changing
Lyft and the Phoenix City Council have been in discussions on a proposed fee increase at Sky Harbor Airport. Despite our high hopes to reach an equitable compromise, negotiations have stalled.
This will not have an immediate impact on pickups or drop-offs at the Airport. However, we have made the difficult decision to cease service at Sky Harbor the day before the fee increase is implemented (currently scheduled for January 17, 2020). What this means for you as a Lyft driver is that you will no longer receive requests from and to the airport after that date.
Additional information regarding these changes will be shared in the upcoming weeks. Please be on the lookout for specific instructions, including proposed drop-off areas. Thank you for driving with Lyft.
