As of January 1st, 2020, Frédéric Texier is appointed VP Group Communications. He will report to Catherine Gros, SVP for Communications, Public Affairs and Social and Sustainable Impact, Groupe Renault.
Frédéric Texier, 39, joined Groupe Renault in April 2016 as Director of the Press Department. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Total, first in the Group’s press department and then as Head of Communications for the New Energies Division. From 2006 to 2009, he worked in Eurotunnel’s operational communication department. He started his career in journalism contributing to science magazines for the general public.
Frédéric Texier holds a degree in environmental sciences and geotechnology from the University of Poitiers and a Master’s degree in Science Journalism from the University of Montpellier.
