Mississauga, ON – Jan. 3, 2020 – Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada reported 25,535 vehicles sales in 2019 surpassing last year’s sales record. The company has achieved three record years in a row, aided by the launch of a redesigned RVR and the continued success of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, Canada’s No. 1 plug-in hybrid SUV. Total sales are up 1.2 per cent year over year.

Mitsubishi RVR sales led 2019 sales with 7,463 deliveries. Eclipse Cross saw a surge in sales in 2019 with a 42 per cent increase and 5,101 deliveries. The Outlander brand sold 10,701 vehicles with 6,360 Outlander gas and 4,341 Outlander PHEV delivered. The Mitsubishi Mirage subcompact hatchback and G4 sedan reached 2,270 deliveries rounding out annual sales.

In December, 1,165 vehicle sales were delivered, down 29 per cent over last year’s results.
