Peugeot expands its range of electrified vehicles with the introduction of the Plug-in hybrid versions of the SUV 3008 (Hybrid and for the first time Hybrid4 with 4WD all-wheel drive) and the 508 fastback and Sw. Thus, six electrified models of Peugeot currently become in range. After the e-208 (to be delivered in February), the SUV e-2008 will also arrive in the Bel Paese (already orderable with prices of around 38 thousand euros and delivery from April), able to combine features of a compact Sport Utility Vehicle with those of a 100% electric motorization.
The new Plug-in hybrids can count on a petrol engine combined with one or two electric units (depending on the model) capable of guaranteeing 225 or 300 hp overall and guaranteeing up to almost 60 km of autonomy (Wltp) in 100 mode % electric, combining high performance (for example from 0 to 100 km / h in 5 “9 seconds for the 3008 Hybrid4) with reduced emissions and consumption.
The first units of the 3008 Hybrid (from just over 44 thousand euros) and Hybrid4 (from almost 52 thousand euros) and the 508 fastback and Sw Hybrid (from around 47 thousand euros) will already be available for delivery to Italian customers from February .
2020 will not only be the year of electrification of cars: the range of commercial vehicles of the Casa del Leone will also see important news over the next few months. The 100% electric versions of Peugeot Expert and Boxer will also arrive.
