Partnership will enable Karhoo to onboard local fleets in even the most remote areas
Karhoo is joining forces with booking and dispatch platform, iVcardo, to further augment its first- and last-mile offering via its mobility platform.
The integration will provide Karhoo with increased infrastructure and access to transport operators beyond those in ride-hailing city strongholds as part of the company’s international expansion.
Onboard local fleets
Karhoo said iVcardo’s enablement platform, which facilitates booking, exchange, fulfilment and billing of passenger transport services on a global scale, will also allow it and its partners to track journeys globally.
As such, the partnership will enable Karhoo to onboard local fleets in even the most remote areas of the world onto its platform.
The added security through monitoring journeys will be of particular importance to Karhoo’s corporate and travel partners as their passengers travel into emerging and unfamiliar markets.
“Crucially, we will also have ability to track these rides in real time no matter where they are. As Karhoo scales up globally, these factors are absolutely key to our partners”
According to Karhoo, this will help safely expand its platform supply which stands at 1.8 million licensed taxi and private hire vehicle fleets in 1,500 cities across six continents.
“By partnering with iVcardo, we will now have the ability to connect with transport operators anywhere in the world instantly,” said Nicolas Andine, co-CEO, Kathoo.

Future of mobility
iVcardo will initially support Karhoo by connecting the platform with transport operators including taxi, limousine, minibus and coach companies across Europe.
Just as Karhoo will benefit from its increased footprint, so too will local fleets enjoy more demand from the customer base that Karhoo’s partners bring.
“We believe the dynamic Karhoo model which maximises the opportunities for drivers and vehicles in a safe and responsible fashion is where the world of mobility is heading,” added Simon Gare, founder and chairman, iVcardo.
“We are very excited to be working alongside them as [it] embarks upon this period of global growth.”
Karhoo is backed by Groupe Renault as part of its mobility-as-an-industry initiative and has built a network of over 1.8 million vehicles worldwide.
iVcardo is a platform business, a B2B exchange where demand for ground transportation is connected with quality-assured transport service operators. It aims to connect retailers of transport services with transport operators, eliminating operational inefficiencies, friction and cost.
