On April 15, former CJSC “GM-AVTOVAZ” was re-registered in the state register of legal entities of Russia as JSC “LADA West Togliatti”.
The new name reflects affiliation with AVTOVAZ and follows the logic for naming of 100%-affiliate companies of the Group.
The production at CJSC “GM-AVTOVAZ” started in 2002. The main product is the Niva off-roader, which was developed by AVTOVAZ and will be integrated into the LADA lineup in 2020.
