A Toyota AI Ventures portfolio company since July 2018, Embodied recently introduced Moxie, an animate companion robot for children. Moxie engages children in play-based learning through technologies in Embodied’s SocialXTM platform, which incorporates new developments in natural language processing, computer vision, and conversational artificial intelligence (AI). Led by founder and CEO Paolo Pirjanian, Embodied’s team focuses on making human-machine interaction as natural as possible, and this uniquely allows Moxie to support social, emotional, and cognitive learning in children.

If you’re excited about working with groundbreaking robotics technologies and you value Embodied’s mission of furthering child development, check out these opportunities at Embodied on the Toyota AI Ventures jobs board: senior applied machine learning scientist and a senior software engineer.
