- Election of the board: Andreas Barchetti succeeds long-time chairman Peter List
- Congratulations: Opel CEO Michael Lohscheller wishes for full dealer involvement
Rüsselsheim. The European Association of Opel and Vauxhall Dealers (EURODA = European Opel / Vauxhall Dealer Association) has elected a new board. Andreas Barchetti now heads the association. The Italian replaces the long-time President Peter List from Austria.
“I congratulate Andreas Barchetti on his new position”, says Opel boss Michael Lohscheller. “He will represent the European dealers professionally and with full conviction. Especially in these difficult times, it is vital that retailers take full advantage of all the options on the market. In addition, I would like to thank his predecessor, Peter List, for the many years of good cooperation.”
The German Roman Still (AVAG Group) becomes the Vice Chairman of EURODA. He is supported by Briton Mike Hutchin, Vincent Girerd from France and Theo Janssens from the Netherlands.
EURODA represents the interests of around 1,600 Opel and Vauxhall dealers across Europe. The association was founded in 1990. The five-member presidium works closely with the Opel / Vauxhall European Retail Board (ERB).
