Technical Customer Success Manager (San Francisco Bay Area, California, or remote)
Parallel Domain is looking for a technical customer success manager to engage, retain, and drive customer renewals of current and new product offerings. This role plays a critical part in empowering customers to achieve their desired outcomes through utilization of Parallel Domain solutions, and simultaneously contributes to making the product better. This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a remote work option.
You will need at least three years of prior direct client service or management experience (customer success, account management, or sales) at a B2B technology company. An understanding of the autonomous systems industry and/or the technical concepts behind Parallel Domain’s products — which includes AI, machine learning (ML), and computer vision — is a plus. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must, as well as the ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
You are ideally an ambitious, customer-focused team player that thrives at a fast-paced start-up. Your responsibilities will include managing post-acquisition activity for Parallel Domain’s customers from the point of sale to onboarding, project success, and renewals. You will drive business value for customers by defining a plan with them that includes appropriate objectives, milestones, and success metrics. Internally, you will represent the voice of the customer and work cross-functionally on improving the product and the customer experience.
Senior Computer Vision Engineer (remote)
Parallel Domain is also seeking a senior computer vision engineer to help lead its computer vision efforts. This position is remote. You will ideally have a passion for conducting computer vision and ML experiments with synthetic data. You will train and test computer vision models on both synthetic and real-world datasets, as well as study the impact that various data configurations have on performance.
This role requires four or more years of professional experience or a master’s degree (or its equivalent) in computer vision and ML. You will need demonstrated proficiency in working with computer vision models, and fluency in common programming languages and ML platforms. Experience building pipelines for data processes for ML applications is also needed. It’s a bonus if you have previously worked with synthetic data for training ML models or managed datasets and training models. Familiarity with 3D graphics or autonomous vehicle perception and sensor fusion would also be helpful.
Typical responsibilities include helping to build the computer vision team and establishing processes for training and testing standard computer vision models. Other regular duties include tool implementation, dataset analysis, and collaboration with senior engineers.
