Fintech company Conferma has announced a partnership with ground transportation provider Karhoo to streamline ground transport payments.
Conferma’s integration into the Karhoo suite of tools will allow travellers and companies to organise their travel, track expenses, pay suppliers and have access to travel data.
Karhoo allows users to book ground transportation worldwide, and head of travel partnerships Gavin Smith said the partnership with Conferma means passengers don’t have to worry about payments or cash at the end of their journey.
He continued: “Our partnership with Conferma is essential to make payments invisible and brings greater efficiencies for businesses at the same time as eliminating the hassle for travellers. Subsequently, we are able to streamline corporate travel efforts and open the door to new opportunities for growth.”
Simon Barker, founder and CEO of Conferma, added: “As a business owner, I understand the importance of tight controls and cost efficiencies in order to propel growth. We want to support international business by enabling them to cut corporate costs across all travel areas, without having to scale back.
“For Karhoo this eliminates a clunky payment process, creating scope for wider expansion and service excellence. Automating this process makes like easier for travellers and provides full visibility for businesses. We are delighted to be working in partnership with our first ever ground transportation organisation.”
