GM Canada Producing 10 Million Face Masks for the Government of Canada

OSHAWA, Ont. (August 21, 2020) — New pictures have been added to our photo gallery on the General Motors media site as we recently marked our 2 millionth mask making milestone.
On May 26, 2020, the Government of Canada contracted General Motors of Canada to provide 10 million face masks over the next year. GM Canada will manufacture the face masks at cost at its Oshawa Operations for the Federal Government of Canada.
