Senior Product Manager — Solutions (Ann Arbor, Michigan)
May Mobility is looking for a senior product manager of solutions to define product visions and strategies and act as a link between cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include working with customers and internal teams and leveraging market intelligence and customer validation to inform product strategy. You will partner with engineering and operations to effectively develop, launch, and operationalize products. You will need excellent communication and leadership skills to advocate for your solutions and guarantee customer satisfaction, financial success, and a compelling competitive advantage.
At a minimum, you need five or more years of experience in product management for software, hardware, or combined software/hardware products (including experience launching a product). Previous experience leading a cross-functional team is also needed, as well as a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Senior Robotics Engineer (Ann Arbor, Michigan)
May Mobility is also looking for a senior robotics engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to independently impact May Mobility’s approach to solving interesting challenges facing autonomous vehicles today. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to develop software and system requirements, and designing, implementing, and testing state-of-the-art robotics software in C. You will lead design and code reviews, track the technical performance of the system in the field, and provide guidance to the technical support team.
You should have five or more years of industry experience working on real-world robot systems (including implementation of at least two commercial projects working at a systems level), and at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in robotics, computer science, or computer engineering; a doctorate is highly desirable though not required. Experience with a combination of the following areas is needed: interaction-aware planning, partially observable Markov decision process, policy optimization, computational geometry, object detection, multi-target tracking, localization, or mapping. Familiarity with standard development tools (git, valgrind, and gdb) is also required, while experience with perception, image processing, machine learning, or deep learning is also helpful.
