@Geely: Multi-site dealer group joins LEVC sales & servicing network in the Netherlands

25th November 2020, Ansty

LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) has appointed a third dealer group in the Netherlands, partnering with Harrie Arendsen BV to offer sales and servicing in the Gelderland and Overijssel regions in the east of the country. Joining the recent appointments of Stern Lijnden and Mobility Centre, LEVC will now have nine full sales and service sites in the Netherlands.  The continued expansion in the Netherlands supports LEVC’s growing dealer representation in Europe.

With a large presence in the east of the Netherlands, Harrie Arendsen BV will offer an LEVC Sales Point in Ruurlo and Service Centres in Doetinchem and Hengelo (OV). Between the dealer sites, the locations will provide customers in the region full sales and after sales support for LEVC’s TX shuttle, based on the iconic London black taxi and, from Spring 2021, the company’s new electric van, VN5.

LEVC is seeing growth in demand for its TX products in Europe, as taxi operators and on demand shuttle services switch to greener mobility solutions. TX and TX shuttle are powered by LEVC’s proven and innovative eCity technology, zero emissions capable for 63 miles (101km) yet with a flexible range of over 316 miles (510 km). Based on the iconic London ‘black cab’, these TX models feature a spacious passenger environment with six passenger seats, wheelchair accessibility and a purpose-built partition separating the driver from occupants.

The TX and TX Shuttle models will have high appeal thanks to low CO2 emissions of 19g/km. Car tax in the Netherlands – or Belasting van Personenautos en Motorrijwielen (BPM) – is calculated on CO2 rates, meaning that the TX could operate with an annual BPM as little as €456.

LEVC’s new electric van, VN5, is already on sale in the UK and will be launched in Europe from Spring 2021. Operating in the one-tonne sector, VN5 shares the same bold, distinctive design and lightweight aluminium construction as TX, as well as its innovative eCity electric technology. VN5 can achieve a pure EV range of over 60 miles (98 km) and a total flexible range of over 300 miles (489 km) and, with up to 5.5m capacity, VN5 cargo capacity easily accommodates two Euro sized pallets with a gross payload of 830kg.

LEVC’s global network will cover 21 markets by the end of 2021 and more than 30 sales and service partners will be in place across Continental Europe by the end of this year.
