In 2020, 343,512 LADA cars were sold in Russia. The Brand’s share in the passenger car and light commercial vehicle market increased from 20.6% to 21.5%, setting an absolute record for the last 9 years. Thanks to the state measures to stimulate the demand on the automotive market, successful implementation of advanced public procurement programs, the Company’s rapid response to the new operating reality under the conditions of coronavirus restrictions, dynamic development of the product portfolio and the good performance of the Dealer Network, LADA managed to enhance its leading position.For the third year in a row, LADA Granta and LADA Vesta remain the most popular cars in the Russian Federation: according to the results of 2020, LADA Granta keeps the first place with a result of 126,112 cars sold. The market share of the model resulted to 7.9% (+0.2 points compared to 2019). The second place is occupied, as a last year, by LADA Vesta with a sales result of 107,281 vehicles, and the model’s market share increased to 6.7% (+0.4 points compared to 2019).The passenger version of the LADA Largus station wagon also entered the TOP-10 of the Russian automotive market with a result of 37,166 cars sold. In total, 48,906 cars of the Largus family were sold in Russia in 2020, of which 11,740 were LCVs.The special editions – Quest, [Black] and Instinct – have also contributed to the Brand’s success. LADA XRAY Cross became the first LADA car with the Yandex.Auto services on board. Along with the launch of this model in April 2020, online orders for the Brand’s vehicles started.The return of Niva was a remarkable event for LADA. In the summer of 2020, the model began again to be produced under the LADA brand, and already at the end of the year LADA Niva Travel was launched in production. Since 2021, LADA 4×4 has regained its initial name – LADA Niva, with the suffix “Legend” added.In the LCV segment, 13,576 LADA cars were sold in 2020, which is 23% higher compared to 2019.This makes 95% of the sub-segment of small LCVs.Last year, corporate sales of LADA also increased: state bodies and private institutions purchased 91,127 vehicles, which is 6% higher compared to 2019.In 2020, 5 new LADA dealerships were opened in Russia. The Brand’s dealer network continues to be the largest in the country with 300 dealerships. By the end of 2020, 282 of them have been updated according to the new Brand’s standards.Last year, 5 new dealerships were also opened abroad. LADA continued to strengthen its positions in the neighboring CIS markets. The Brand is a leader in CIS countries with top position for Granta in Kazakhstan and Vesta in Belarus. New importers have appeared in Armenia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. According to the results of 2020, more than 41 thousand LADA cars were sold abroad.“Last year was a real test of the whole automotive industry’s strength.
