PEUGEOT France is renewing the PEUGEOT DIRECT system from 26 January 2021 due to the promising results of this operation which took place during the confinement from November 2021 to 20 December 2020.The customer’s journey is entirely digitised: a Peugeot expert accompanies his customer by videoconference, from the discovery of the vehicle to the signing of the order.
Qualified contacts in videoconferencing and a higher than average conversion rate to sales show that customers had a real expectation of being able to carry out all the stages of a car purchase at a distance.
To meet this new market expectation, PEUGEOT France has decided to renew the same principle as the one previously implemented. Experts will respond to customer requests and carry out the entire purchasing process by videoconference, from the discovery of the vehicle on display in the showroom to the commercial offer by proposing a trade-in, financing and associated services.
Orders will be taken on the Peugeot Store platform, which is the first 100% online sales site enabling customers to buy and finance their new vehicle at a price that has already been negotiated, as well as to have their old vehicle taken back in complete transparency.
