Automotive giant Ford has said that its next-generation of Transit van will be produced in Turkey from 2023 and will include electric and hybrid versions, as well as combustion-engine versions.
The new vans will be built by Ford Otosan, one of the automaker’s Turkish joint-ventures.
With a 15% market share, Ford is Europe’s top brand of commercial vehicle, and it has led the market for 56 years.
