– Hyundai Motor recently unveiled BAYON, an all-new crossover SUV designed specifically for Europe.
The world’s motoring media has responded with excitement regarding the model’s design, technology and spaciousness.
As a B-segment SUV, BAYON becomes the latest and smallest member of Hyundai’s expanding SUV family. It features a compact exterior, a roomy interior, and a long list of intelligent safety and connectivity features which make it stand out in its class.

Italy’s ANSA news agency also lauded the model for its design.

France’s Caradisiac praised Hyundai’s latest SUV for its original styling.
The boomerang-like lighting in the rear, the “pointed” nose and the taut lines, marked by ribs and edges, make up a rather original design.

Meanwhile, another French publication, L’Auto-Journal praised BAYON for its comfort and convenience, saying “Although ranked in the city crossover class, the SUV is generous in terms of its interior space”.
As well as praising the B-SUV’s design, Italian website Motorionline noted the vehicle’s connectivity and electrified powertrains.

Finally, Spain’s Autobild.es highlighted the model’s Rev Matching function, which is available on versions of BAYON with intelligent manual transmission (iMT).
Another novelty is that it is the brand’s first SUV with the Rev Matching function, which synchronises the engine to make downshifting smoother.
