With the country battling the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Nissan today announced that it has contributed more than Rs 6.75 crore.
It has donated Rs 2.20 crore to Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority, Rs 25 lakh to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund and over Rs 4.30 crore for essential medical equipment.
To support the RNAIPL employees and their families, Nissan has distributed Covid-19 kits; increased insurance amounts; and secured beds, oxygen concentrators and ventilators for the nearby hospitals.
