The plug-in hybrid in two power levels
And we come to the planned engines. The new Opel Astra will be available and this is the most important novelty, also with plug-in hybrid system, based on a 1,600 cc turbo 4-cylinder engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that integrates a unit electric. There are two versions, with a maximum total power of 180 hp or, alternatively, 225 hp. However, there will also be the more traditional combustion engines which should be the 3-cylinder of 1,200 cc with two power levels of 110 hp or 130 hp and the 4-cylinder turbodiesel of 1,500 cc with 130 hp.
