Delta Is Hitting These Travel Stocks More Than Others
The Delta variant appears to be taking a bite out of what had been a resurgent U.S. leisure-travel segment, though the evidence is anecdotal and fraught with crosscurrents. The federal Transportation Security Administration on Tuesday screened 1,727,075 individuals nationwide, the lowest level since June 15 of this year. On Wednesday, that number climbed to 1,761,348—still below levels reached earlier in the month.
